Abortion, What Does the Bible Say?

Well, the Bible doesn’t say much about abortion, as this was never really an issue during the time of writing.   Bu there is one passage I would like to bring up that might shed some light on this subject.

Exodus 1:15-21 “And the king of Egypt spake to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:

16And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.Well, the Bible doesn’t say much about abortion, as this was never really an issue during the time of writing.   But there is one passage I would like to bring up that might shed some light on this subject.

Atheists Launch Ad Campaign in London

An atheist group in London has raised more than $113,000 in donations to display ads on the side of buses in London. Of the top contributors, Richard Dawkins, author of the wide selling book, God Delusion and known Atheist writer, has donated more than $9,000. The buses will carry the slogan, “There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.” and the campaign is expected to run longer than previously thought. Read more »

Jewish Dietary Laws - Was There a Purpose?

Part of the law that was given to the Israelites by the Prophet Moses, was the dietary laws that are still upheld to this day by many Jewish people. These are found recorded in the book of Leviticus (chapter 11) or as known in the Hebrew Bible, Vayikra.

Billy Graham Turns Ninety

Long time evangelist Billy Graham will be turning the ripe old age of 90 on November 7 of this year. If you or anyone you know ever came to know the Lord Jesus Christ through him, you can send a testimony by November 1 which will be presented to him on his birthday. Billy was hospitalized earlier this month after tripping over his dog “Sam”, a golden Retriever he received as a present two years ago from friends of the family. Billy suffered no major injuries and was quickly released, suffering only minor bruises and sore muscles. Read more »

What is God’s Political System?

In this age we here much about politics and the struggle between one political party and another. We have Liberals and Conservatives, in the past it was Democrats and Republicans, we had the Whig party, Libertarians, etc, etc. In other countries we see similar struggles, Communist dictators, Socialism, Democracies, Republics, Monarchies, and the continued struggle as to which of these is the greater amidst a never ending struggle for power, or true freedom.
